Clubs can earn Platform Credits each month based on qualifying activity and online payment fees. Clubs that pay the yearly Premium fee have their credits topped up when they pay. Platform Credits pay for email broadcasts and the AI assistant, and any club can buy more when it needs them.

Online payment rates​

Every rate includes standard Visa and Mastercard processing fees. There are no setup fees.

What's included​

  • Payments arrive by direct deposit within 7 days.
  • Members can pay with Visa or Mastercard, including co-branded debit cards.
  • You can pass convenience fees on to members. Check your local laws first.

Other fees​

  • Disputes (chargebacks) are rare in curling. The payment agreement lists their fees.
  • International credit cards may carry additional fees.

Offline payments​

Offline payments are free. Members choose At the club when they register, and you record the payment in Curling IO when they pay.

How the essentials stay free​

Curling IO runs every club on one shared, efficient platform, so adding a club costs very little. There's no setup work and no new server for each club.

Every online payment through Curling IO also leaves a small share of the processing fee with us. Across many clubs, that pays for the free clubs and for new features.
